New Irrigation System Atlanta

Right now is the best time to plan and install your new irrigation system in Atlanta. Installation this time of year, particularly while the sod is dormant, will allow the trench lines to cover from the installation when the sod comes out of dormancy. This will provide you with a luxurious green lawn this spring.
There will be a rush after the first few warm days of people trying to plan and install irrigation systems as there is every year. I would highly recommend you do this now to beat the rush. Most irrigation companies in Atlanta are running specials for new irrigation system installations and giving free new irrigation system estimates. You will already be ahead of the game when spring comes so that your lawn reaches it's fullest potential.
You can find more out on our website about our company and specials.

Atlanta Irrigation Companies

To trench or not to trench? Many people have differing opinions on this issue. Our preference is to trench. Why? Stability, Longevity. While 90% of what we do is residential irrigation systems, I've never seen specifications on any commercial job that did not require trenching for the two reasons I mentioned. Stability, Longevity.

New Irrigation Systems

If your planning a new irrigation system around a landscape plan, be sure that your irrigation company follows these guidelines:
(1) Take into account the expected size of plants (meaning placement of heads should take this into account). Otherwise, those heads may have to be moved later.
(2) Be sure the irrigation system is planned for a minimum of a 3 year establishment period for shrubs and 10 year establishment for trees from an irrigation perspective.

Irrigation Systems Atlanta

Today I want to blog about the importance of proper separation of irrigation zones. Different plant types, soil types, and landscape layouts require different amounts of water. Combining grass and annuals into one irrigation system zone will give uneven watering. Meaning one area gets too much and one not enough. It is important that the irrigation system design plan takes into account the differences in these areas that it will water. Tomorrow, importance of proper heads & placement.

New Irrigation System Companies

Do you have an old system that hasn't been used in sometime & also need some additional irrigation coverage? No problem for us. Our guys are just finishing up a 14 year old system add-on and restoration since the system has been used in over 9 years. This is a bigger irrigation system so it was more cost-effective to repair and restore it. Depending on your situation just getting a new irrigation system may be a better bet.

Irrigation Systems

Today we are starting a 3 zone Hunter irrigation system in Hampton. While the customer had an existing irrigation system it was not in good shape at all and not properly design so it was more cost effective to install a new system rather than repair the old one.

Why dirt piles after my pipe is laid for my new irrigation system?

When you chose the trenching method for your new irrigation system installation, we go through a several step process to ensure that you don't have ruts in your yard or "sinking" trenchlines. Once the dirt is compressed, by hand and machine, and raked up again, we like to naturally allow the trenchline dirt to fall into place over 2 weeks or so following installation. Doing so makes sure that you don't have ruts in your yard. When you chose trenchless installation the method is different. While it will look better, we feel that we can provide a more stable environment for your irrigation pipe via trenching. Check out our for an awesome before and after 2 months post-installation to see what it will really look like.
