I haven't blogged about this subject in a while but feel it would be prudent to do so now. As things begin to pick up for new irrigation system installations for the fall, please don't forget about the importance of backflow prevention and the fact that backflow prevention is required by state law. Know the differences between a dual check and double check device and which one affords the most protection for your family. Here's a clue: many communities & counties south of metro Atlanta required and test double check backflow prevention devices.
Yea but you have to be a plumber to install backflows, IT'S THE LAW!!!!. You better start getting a plumber or the state will catch you and shut you down. This does not look like a plumber did this. SHAME ON YOU. YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW!!! I would watch out if I were you.
